Graphic Design Intern

Key Responsibilities:
Designing print and electronic promotional materials for current and future advertising campaigns (i.e. posters, brochures, press kits, postcards, etc for various TMO events).
Assisting in the upkeep of the TMO website.
Designing online TMO newsletters and other web content.
Providing input and creating mock-ups for branding/marketing plans for TMO services.

Establish and maintain vendor relationships – agencies, photographers, printers and related

service providers to meet client marketing and budgetary objectives.

Apply great attention to detail in helping maintain and manage the storage of all digital assets.

Qualifications:

A portfolio which demonstrates the ability to quickly convey ideas and information as well as shows innovative and creative thinking.

Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and solid working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Publisher).

Excellent communication skills.

Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness; Looks for ways to improve and promote quality.

Preference given to those applicants who have or are in the process of obtaining a degree in graphic design.
* This position has no time limit and can lead to a full time employment.

Social Media/ Marketing Intern

This is a Virtual Opportunity.

Key Responsibilities:

Extend The Mane Occasion’s  social media reach and capture the target audience
Identify, monitor, learn and experiment with new and alternative social media strategies
Research, write, create and develop insightful, quality content for our sites
Understand, track, and document analytics
Measure the impact of social media on the overall marketing efforts
Research and recommend partnership opportunities with relevant natural hair brands, bloggers, and vloggers.
Gain and track followers / audience on all social media outlets
Monitor and engage on various social media platforms, replying to comments, messages, inquiries, compliments and complaints in brand voice.
Experiment with new and alternative ways to leverage social media activities
Monitor social media tools, trends and applications and appropriately apply that knowledge to increasing the use of social media
Determine what social media techniques are most appropriate
Document a social media process for our organization and includes planning social media campaigns
Preference given to those applicants who have or are in the process of obtaining a degree in Marketing, Public Relations, Communications.
